I can feel the control behind it more here. It’s not just drifting — it’s deliberately restrained. The world is consistent, and the production carries a lot of nuance if I stay inside it long enough. But even with that, it still doesn’t push far enough. The ideas are there, and I hear the intention behind the emotional tone, but the album keeps everything at the same level. It never really commits to escalation. It feels like it’s circling something instead of moving toward it. Some moments come close to locking in, but they don’t fully land. Either the track shifts too early, or it just fades out instead of resolving. That keeps the whole thing from building any real weight over time. I respect the cohesion and the craft, but I’m still left wanting a stronger sense of direction — something that forces a payoff instead of avoiding it.
