Finnish collective Avaruusasema creates a colourful musical environment through expressive instrumentation, varied arrangements and an evident enthusiasm for exploring different musical directions. I particularly appreciate the keyboard textures, prominent bass lines and occasional melodic highlights, especially on "Aallot" and "Ilma ja tuli". However, the compositions don't always justify their elaborate arrangements, and the frequent stylistic changes occasionally make the album feel more fragmented than genuinely progressive.
