There are riffs here that remind me why Megadeth mattered — sharp, twitchy, technically alert — yet too often they’re framed by songs that feel routine rather than necessary. The energy is professional, even proud, but rarely urgent. As a late-career record, it’s competent and occasionally satisfying, but it never escapes the sense of being a legacy exercise instead of a statement that needs to exist.
