I can appreciate the creativity behind this mix, but I never stop feeling like I'm listening to an experiment rather than a fully satisfying album. The rapid-fire mashups and constant stylistic shifts make for an entertaining first listen, yet they rarely leave enough space for individual moments to develop or resonate. Jane Remover clearly has an excellent instinct for sequencing and finding unexpected connections between tracks, but the project often prioritizes novelty over cohesion. Once the initial surprise wears off, much of the excitement fades with it, and I find myself remembering isolated transitions more than the mix as a complete experience. It's technically impressive and occasionally exhilarating, but I don't come away with the emotional connection or replay value that I expect from albums I rate more highly.
