Legacy delivers exactly what you expect from Five Finger Death Punch: heavy grooves, massive choruses, polished production and Ivan Moody shifting between aggressive vocals and more vulnerable melodies. The album is efficient and occasionally enjoyable. The riffs have weight, the hooks are immediate, and Andy James brings some welcome precision to the guitar work. At its best, the band still knows how to create straightforward arena metal with enough energy to work. But the formula is now completely predictable. Most songs follow the same structure, the lyrics remain painfully simplistic, and the polished production removes almost any sense of danger. There is little artistic progression here, but the album is competent enough and contains a few solid moments. On Petal , Ariana Grande moves away from obvious pop fireworks toward colder electronic production, layered harmonies and deliberately restrained vocals. The sound is elegant and cohesive, while a few tracks reveal a more adventurous side of her music. The album’s main weakness is that restraint often becomes flatness. Several songs remain trapped in the same subdued atmosphere, with too few memorable choruses or real emotional peaks. Grande’s voice is still immaculate, but holding it back so consistently removes some of the excitement. Still, Petal is polished, mature and more interesting than a routine pop release. Nimrods Original Soundtrack is basically a long Green Day compilation with a few extras attached. The classics are obviously strong, the live tracks bring some energy, and the sequencing covers several periods of the band’s career reasonably well. The problem is that most of the material is already very familiar, while the new and guest tracks rarely justify the size of the package. At 30 songs, it also feels more like an extended playlist than a carefully built soundtrack. There is enough quality here to make it enjoyable, but very little that feels essential. Good fun, especially for casual listeners, but limited value as a new Green Day release. Finsterforst’s Still is a massive, dark and surprisingly controlled folk-metal album. The band combines heavy riffs, black-metal aggression, doom-like pacing and accordion without ever falling too far into the usual drinking-song clichés. The result feels genuinely epic rather than simply oversized. The long compositions demand patience, but most of them justify their length through strong atmosphere, gradual development and powerful climaxes. The slower passages give the music room to breathe, while the folk melodies add identity without weakening the darker mood. The production is dense, but it suits the album’s weight and scale. A few sections still drag, and not every chorus is immediately memorable, but the consistency, musicianship and emotional force are difficult to deny. MANIFESTO is a loud and aggressively modern mix of hyperpop, digicore, hardstyle and alternative metal. Ennaria clearly has a strong identity, and the album’s best tracks combine distorted production, catchy hooks and heavier breakdowns with real confidence. The problem is that almost everything is pushed to the maximum. The production is constantly compressed, the vocals are exaggerated and the songs rarely offer enough contrast or breathing room. What initially sounds exciting soon becomes repetitive and tiring, while some lyrics and stylistic choices feel more calculated than authentic.
