A chaotic, euphoric and occasionally brilliant B2B that works best when Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson are actively reshaping familiar material rather than simply piling references on top of each other. The chemistry is obvious, and several mashups turn into genuinely exciting new objects rather than novelty edits.

But across nearly two hours, the quality fluctuates heavily. Too many sections lean on recognition, surprise drops and internet-culture familiarity instead of strong musical development. The best transitions are excellent; the weaker ones feel disposable almost immediately.

Fun, inventive and very well executed, but much less substantial than the ecstatic reception suggests.

I appreciate what this re-recording accomplishes because it finally gives these songs the sound they always deserved. The production is bigger, the performances are sharper, and the riffs hit with far more authority than they did on the original release. The youthful aggression is still there, but it's delivered with much greater precision. Where it loses me is in the writing itself. Most of the songs are built around the same formula of fast riffs, blast beats and breakdowns, and after a while they begin to blur together. The constant intensity creates excitement in the short term, but it also leaves very little room for tension, contrast or memorable climaxes. Instead of building toward defining moments, the album often feels like one long sustained assault. I also miss a stronger emotional dimension.
